Marketing and Business Development Manager

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Centre for Mental Health and Counselling Service – Nepal (CMCS-Nepal), registered in Office of Company Registrar, is a not-for-profit social enterprise company. It has been catering mental health and psychosocial services, including training packages and consultancy to customers; individuals, private companies, government and nongovernment organizations. In order to develop and execute marketing and business development through social enterprising we are looking for an energetic person who has in-depth knowledge and working experience in marketing and business development.

Position: Marketing and Business Development Manager – One position based in Kathmandu with field visit as per necessary. This position is a job in sales or profit base initially for six months. Extension of job will rely on the sales and development of profitable business. Basic salary will be topped proportionately with net profit.

The expected candidate is a motivated, organized (self-managed), and creative individual who takes initiatives in a limited resource and challenges in marketing and sales of service products that the general people have no idea or have stigma. She / he will build and / or re-link with customers by identifying business opportunities and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The extension of service contract of this position goes along with the achievement in business and marketing with the volume of service sales.

Hence the person must be objective oriented and a team worker towards business and in generating revenues for organization. This position is solely responsible for developing business and marketing strategic plans with market analysis with future perspective. S/he must be competent in rapid information analysis for business development, cultivate prospective business and secure new customers for CMCS Nepal.  

Requirements; qualification and other skills/knowledge

         Graduate in Marketing and / or related field or equivalent experience in Marketing and Business OR Graduate in Psychology with the hands-on experience in working with the persons living with mental and psychological disorders and social mobilization for developing access to mental health and psychosocial services

         Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent reporting and coordination skills

         Proven leadership projects; ability to work in a team, develop synergies and establish effective working relations with various stakeholders

         Experience in similar roles; technical competence and professional skills for timely implementation, coordination and management of activities

         Computer skill with proficiency in social media & marketing & publicity applications, including website  update

         Strong interpersonal and communications skills, resourcefulness, initiative, tact and ability to cope with any situation;

         Knowledge of gender issues and sensitivity to local culture and traditions in Nepal;

         The candidate should be able to legally work in Nepal.
