Job Title:  Logistic and Procurement Assistant

Department: Operations

Grade: Entry Level

Reports To: Admin Officer

Base Station: Lamjung with some travel to other district

Job Summary:

You will manage the provision of responsive, effective, and efficient administrative services and coordinate functions in general Logistic support and Fleet. You will promote and ensure stewardship of resources and a high-quality service approach are integrated into administrative systems, policies, and procedures.

 

Job Responsibilities:

         Coordinate and monitor day-to-day operations to ensure support services in terms of fleet and logistic arrangements are delivered with high-quality in an efficient manner.

         Be proactive in timely order of materials and track orders so as to ensure well stocked materials at construction sites

         Support Project Manager in verifying order, documents for payment to vendors as well as receive payments from Clients.  

         Prepare reports, analyze data, and use information to plan, budget, and track activities, inventories, and expenditures to ensure continuous work at construction site.

·         Perform any other duties as may be requested by the Project Manager apart from the one mentioned above

 

Typical Background, Experience & Requirements:

Education and Experience

·         Plus Two in management. Bachelor Degree preferred

·         Minimum one year experience

·         Fresh Graduates are also encouraged to apply

·         Additional education may substitute for some experience; additional experience may substitute for some education.

·         Proficient in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

·         Candidates having 2/4 wheel license are preferred.

·         Very good planning, organizational and time management skills

·         Ability to make sound judgment and good decisions

·         Strong customer service orientation with very good communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality

·         Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented

·         Candidates having 2/4 wheel license are prefered

 

Required/Desired Foreign Language

·         Fluent in written and oral English

 

Travel Required

·         A minimum of 25% travel to vendors for material order and delivery in construction site, payment to vendors and to receive payments from clients
