WordPress Web Developer (Theme/Plugins)

Do you love building WordPress plugins and work with the theme development process? Do you have experience with Object-Oriented development and API integration? Then this is the position for you!

The position is focused on backend development, so strong PHP and Object-Oriented coding is required. Knowledge of the WordPress database schema is highly-recommended, as well as working with custom post types and taxonomies etc.

Required Skills

• WordPress NEW plugin creation
  
  
• WordPress customization (theme/plugins)
  
  
• Experience with WordPress hooks
  
  
• Experience with AJAX via WordPress (nice to have)
  
  
• Version control using Github or Bitbucket
  
  
• Comfortable working independently
  
  
• Comfortable research solutions independently
  
  
• Excellent knowledge about user interface and browser compatibility
  
  
• Excellent analytical and planning skills
  
  
• At least 2-6 years of core development work
