SABAL Nepal is a leading humanitarian and development organization working in the field of disaster risk reduction, WASH, governance, community development, livelihood, clean energy and climate change in Madhesh Province, with its headquarter in Rajbiraj, Saptari, Branch office at Mirchaiya, Siraha, and field office in Khadak Municipality, Kalyanpur, Saptari. SABAL has over a decade of experience delivering emergency respond, crisis management, sanitation approaches and governance. Our responses focus on the needs of the most vulnerable populations, particularly, youth, adolescent, girls, women and people with special needs. WASH governance issue is at the heart of SABAL Nepal efforts because our experience shows that its gain can translate into benefits for the HHs, society, local government and SDG 2030. Details / requirements:

Sabal Nepal, a non-profitable social development organization of Nepal. For its  Wealthungerlife supported project titled “Strengthening municipal-wide WASH governance for social change” and implemented in Siraha district of Province No. 2, we invite applications from interested and qualified Nepali citizens for the following positions: All the positions are located in Siraha district.

Position: Project Coordinator -1 No.

Qualification and experiences: Master’s in Engineering or Rural Development or Sociology having 5 years of diversified experiences of project planning, implementation and management preferably in WASH and DRR sector. Advance computer skills and fluency of reading, writing and speaking in English, Nepali and local languages are pre-requisite for the position.

Assignment: 30% Office based work including coordination and reporting and 70% Field works including supervision and backstopping (may modify as upon program requirement).

Position: WASH Officers – 3 Nos.

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Rural Development or Sociology 3 years of diversified experiences of project planning, implementation, supervision and community mobilization preferably of WASH and DRR projects. Advance computer skills and fluency of reading, writing and speaking in English, Nepali and local languages are pre-requisite for the position.

Assignment: 70% field based work including implementation, management, community mobilization and quality control and 30% Office based work including reporting and district based networking and coordination (may modify as upon program requirement).

Position: Nutrition Officer – 1 No.

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Public Health or equivalent having 3 years of diversified experiences of planning implementation, supervision and community mobilization for nutrition programs. Experience of coordination with DPHOs and Line Agencies for nutrition programs will be an added advantage for the position. Advance computer skills and fluency of reading, writing and speaking in English, Nepali and local languages are pre-requisite for the position.

Assignment: 30% Office based works including DATA management and 70% Field based work including training and supervision (may modify as upon program requirement).

Position: Enterprise Development Officer – 1 No.

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Rural Development or Sociology or equivalent having 3 years of relevant experiences of design and planning; implementation and supervision of livelihood projects and activities. Experiences of facilitating and establishing enterprise development and coperative management will be added advantage. Advance computer skills and fluency of reading, writing and speaking in English, Nepali and local languages are pre-requisite for the position.

Assignment: 30% Office based works including information updates, reporting and database management and 70% Field based work including assurance of program quality as per basis of set standards and field visit & supervision (may modify as upon program requirement).

Position: Admin and Finance Officer – 1 No.

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent with specialization in Accounting or Finance having 3 years of experiences in accounting and management of finances of NGO/or INGOs. Advance computer skills especially excel spreadsheet, MS word and power point are essential for the position. Knowledge of FAMAS accounting package will be an advantage. fluency of reading, writing and speaking in English, Nepali and local languages are pre-requisite for the position.

Assignment: 80% Office based works including finance and administrative project works and monthly reporting and 20% Field based work including assurance of inputs supply, quality and verification (may modify as upon program requirement).
