Terre des hommes foundation (Tdh) is a child protection focused Swiss INGO that has been active in Nepal for 32 years. Tdh Nepal delegation is seeking a qualified and dynamic Nepali candidate for the following position. 

Position Title:  Trainee - Health Programme

Reporting to:  Health Programme Coordinator

Work Station: Kathmandu with travel throughout Nepal as required 

Key propose of job

• Support the delegation in documentation and knowledge management on Health 
• Support the programme team in specific project management tasks 
• Support the fundraising effort on health

Specific roles and responsibilities:

• Collate all the training document on health facilitated by Tdh
• Document the need assessment process of Tdh Nepal health projects
• Support the assessment of health needs in other Tdh Nepal projects
• Documentation of capacity building component under recovery health projects 
• Technical design compilation of infrastructure built for health projects 
• Support mapping of existing national data collection process on health and current needs 
• Support to conduct the client satisfaction survey in recovery project
• Update the existing database of donors, monitor call opening and prepare requirements of specific calls/donors
• Search and prepare a summary of requirements of multilateral or bilateral donors 
• Carry out desk review and collect necessary data on the situation, main problems on health related to maternal and child health and nutrition
• Other tasks directed by Health Programme Coordinator 

Qualifications 

• At least Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing or other health related subjects.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Result-oriented positive team player
• Good English writing skills (including typing)
• Self-motivation, resourceful, autonomous worker with a sense of initiatives and learning attitude 

Languages

• Excellent command of English and Nepali language (written and spoken including typing) 

IT Knowledge

• Good computer literacy & skills, good English and Nepali typing, including online collaboration tools. 

Salary and benefits: NPR 15,000.00 per month (gross)

Duration: Up to 6 months
