Full Stack JavaScript Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Our team is developing Interactive Video Platform. Interactive Videos enables you to have engaging video with quizzes, links, and images.

As a member on our team, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers and Engineers (3-in-a-box model) to create innovative solutions for our customers. You’ll play an important role in product development from concept to launch.

Our technology stack includes NodeJS, React, Redux, Express and MongoDB. We do frequent brainstorming sessions and welcome new ideas and diverse perspectives to conceptualize new features and scale our application architecture. We follow Agile methodologies to quickly iterate and deliver new features. We believe in ‘One Team Behaviors’ and Innovation, Collaboration, Inclusion and Wellness are major pillars for our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with product managers and designers to build innovative solutions
• Participate in architectural discussions to improve our technology stack
• Come up with the new ideas to promote best practices
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to make collaboration better between teams
• Deliver high-quality and maintainable code using test-driven methodologies

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-4 years web application development experience
• Knowledge and experience in building scalable Node.js applications
• Solid understanding of core JavaScript concepts
  
• Experience with React and Redux and webpack
  
• Experience with test driven development
  
• Strong understanding of cross-browser DOM APIs and ways to work around them
• High Quality Code Base
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design etc.
• Strong desire to learn and share knowledge with others
