Software Project Manager / BA

This position will be responsible for working closely with key stakeholders to gather, clarify and document functional requirements and will be responsible for designing the business processes and functional workflows to most efficiently accomplish the desired requirements. The position is responsible for ensuring a project is well defined and understood by all parties before implementation commences.

Most importantly, this position will bridge the gap between the functional side of the projects and the information technology side of the projects by synthesizing business requirements into precise functionality suitable for the creation of technical specifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related degree; or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management from an appropriately accredited institution.
• One year of experience in IT project management or technical project management related work.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience, with business analyst experience is required.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as analytical technical ability (relationship-building/problem-solving/research skills, etc.).
• Depth knowledge of managing projects in Project Management applications like Jira, Trello, Asana or similar.
• Proficient in waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficient with Software Development Life Cycle.
• Self-motivated, eager to contribute and learn, and brings a strong sense of initiative; has an exceptional work ethic and is energized by team success.
• Experience of documenting business requirements and data flows and highly proficient technical writing capabilities.
• Experience of developing business process workflows.
• Exposure to running executive level workshops to assist with gathering technical and business requirements.
• PM or business analyst certification is a huge plus.
