Software Development Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• At least 3 years experience in related field
• Take lead in designing and implementing systems to ensure the best user experience for maximum adoption
• A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills are absolute requirements

Job Description

We are looking for somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer centric, and feels strongly about personal growing by self learning. The primary responsibility will be to design and develop various layers of our applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, continuous learning attitude and quality product is essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Research, design, and writing of software to specifications, either individually or as part of a team of other engineers.
• Participate in the evaluation of new technologies, tools, and methods and assist in their deployment into the organization.
• Utilize proven project management methods to plan, track, and status of projects.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously, and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to develop and implement best practices, identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address those issues.
• Reviewing current systems.
• Utilize proven project management methods to plan, track, and status of projects.
• Producing detailed specifications and writing the programme codes.
• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live.
• Working closely with analysts, designers, and staff.
• Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.
