Duties and responsibilities

  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Research and implement features provided by Social Media Platforms to build better customer relationships.
  • Proactively identify potential content for publication online, with approval from operations manager.
  • Proactively run social media channels on a day to day basis, providing regular, compelling updates that increases company profile, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin etc.
  • Use your own initiative to respond to reputational issues on social media, identifying any queries to escalate to operations manager when required.
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility for company’s social content.
  • Compile and circulate weekly content performance report, monthly and quarterly analytics reports on key social media and website reach indicators, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with operations manager and business development manager to devise strategies to drive traffic to company’s social media channels.  
  • Collaborate with departments (sales, marketing etc) to manage reputation, branding, identify key players and coordinate actions.  

Qualifications

  • Understanding of using social media to build profile and influence in communications campaigns.
  • A general knowledge of design in order to create visually appealing graphics to coordinate with appropriate posts.
  • Ability to convey ideas in a clear and precise way so that audience members can easily understand the messages being conveyed on the social media channels.
  • Adequate knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • Self- directed and able to work without supervision. Ability to prioritise and organise own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and to grow with the company and motivate to take additional task and solve problems.
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media sector. 1 year plus experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor in Communications, Marketing, Business or Public relations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and skills in proofreading.
