HKI/Nepal currently seeking applications from qualified, experienced and self-motivated candidates for a Project Manager position for a Retinpathy of Prematuriy (ROP) project to be based in Nepalgunj, Banke . This is a full time position for one year.

Requirement for the role

Project Manager: Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Management- (Position no.1)

 

  • Overall responsible for the implementation of the ROP project in Banke, in collaboration with the implementing partners.
  • Collaborate with the implementing partner hospitals, governmental and non -governmental organizations, eye hospitals and other partners /stakeholders to plan for services and to reach the target audience
  • Develop the ROP project implementation workplan and a monitoring and evaluation plan.
  • Plan for and assist with launching the ROP project in collaboration with the partner hospitals,
  • Assist to plan and roll out the variouskey trainings for the project.
  • Responsible to meet the Project deliverables and submit various reporting requirements timely.
  • Responsible to oversee data is being collected as designed babies are being followed,
  • Responsible to collaborate and plan activities with the partner hospitals and to keep them informed though regular meetings and updates

 

Educational Degree:

  • Master’s in medicine in a related field (ophthalmology, pediatrics, general medicine, etc.).
  • Staff nurse/ HA with at least /3 years of project management experience.

 

Experiences years:

  • Minimum of  2/3 years’ experience in any of the related medical areas.  
  • Technical knowledge in areas related to NICU, new-born and infant care.

Communication Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and confident to effectively interact and communicate with government, academia, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to write/produce program and technical reports.
