Aasaman Nepal (ASN) with the vision of happy and healthy children is currently working in 16 districts of Nepal, irrespective of geographical location. Dedicated to children's education, health and rights, ASN works in various developmental themes; Health and nutrition, education, child protection, natural resource management, livelihood, and humanitarian response.

Details / requirements:

Aasaman Nepal (ASN) is a non-profit making terai based leading NGO. ASN has been working since 1999 with focusing programs in child rights and protection, education, health and sanitation, livelihood, and humanitarian response in Nepal. Aasaman Nepal in partnership with Population Services International (PSI), is implementing Women’s Health Project (WHP) Phase IV in Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Mahottari, Dhanusha, and Sarlahi districts of Province No 2.

Aasaman Nepal is looking for experienced and highly qualified Nepali candidates (Female candidates are highly encouraged) to apply for this position:

Project Coordinator: 1 (Janakpur, Province No 2)

Project Coordinator will be responsible to lead all the Field Officers’ and provide technical leadership for project management and monitoring in order to ensure high standards of the project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsible for the planning, coordination with line agencies, implementation, monitoring, documentation and reporting of Women HealthProject. Manage & facilitate Training and workshop, Supervise, monitoring and reporting and Liaise, coordination with line agencies and visitors to build rapport and smooth implementation of activities

Qualification and Experience Required

  • At least Master Degree preferably in Public Health
  • At least 2 years' experience in public health program management, family planning, and women’s health.
  • Proven Report Writing and Data analysis skill
  • Strong communication and liaison skills along with basic knowledge of family planning, and women’s health components.
