CA has a longstanding partnership with donors such as European Commission, ECHO, DFID, Irish Aid, USAID etc. for supporting humanitarian responses in South and South-East Asia region, for major emergencies. Christian Aid has contributed significantly to the regional resilience and humanitarian actions working closely with other institutions of excellence.

Christian Aid is now looking to recruit an innovative and dynamic Programme Development and Funding Manager Nepal to support our development and humanitarian work in Nepal.
About the role
Christian Aid is seeking a motivated Programme Development and Funding Manager Nepal to drive programme development, innovation and resourcing in Nepal in coordination with the country programme team and programme innovation and funding colleagues in Christian Aid. The post will be responsible for leading programme funding in Nepal, raising and managing restricted institutional income to achieve transformational growth. This is a senior role that is expected to engage at strategic levels both at country, corporate and global levels.
About you
Candidates need to have an university degree or equivalent, preferably in a development-related discipline and understanding of international development issues and donor trends. Knowledge of development and humanitarian issues and current affairs in Nepal and the region. Expertise in working with institutional donors (e.g. DFID, EU, ECHO, UN, Trusts and Foundations) on funding proposal and grant management.
