ECARDS-Nepal (Environment, Culture, Agriculture, Research and Development Society, Nepal) is an NGO founded in 1991 to foster sustainable community development through people's organization and leadership.   It is registered in District Administration Office, Kathmandu and affiliated with Social Welfare Council. One of its ongoing project is Post ODF Intervention (Total Sanitation) in three Rural/ Municipalities of  Siraha District.   ECARDS-Nepal is implementing this project in partnership with UNHABITAT and looking for competent candidate for the following position

TOR for the Programme Coordinator

 

 

 

Job Title: Programme Coordinator

 

Require No: 1

 

Job Location: Siraha

 

Duration: Up to 19 June 2020

 

Tasks:

 

  • Develop the training document (content and material) and facilitate the district and field level workshop and trainings
  • Ensure the quality as well as timely implementation of field activities as per programme document

 

·         Plan and implement the project activities as per the project document

 

·         Mobilize Field Coordinator, Palika Coordinator and Total Sanitation Facilitator for implementation of the project activities

 

·         Provide technical input to the WASH-CC and Community

 

·         Organize trainings at project site in consultation with Palika and other stakeholders

 

·         Facilitate D-WASH-CC/M-WASH-CC and WWASHCC to formulate WASH plan and monitoring guidelines

 

·         Coordinate with district, municipality and ward level stakeholders for the smooth implementation of the project

 

·         Monitor day to day implementation of the activities at community and WASHCC level

 

·         Orient field team on programme activities

 

·         Ensure the timely reporting as provisioned in cooperation agreement in coordination with district coordinator

 

·         Organize monthly planning and review meeting

 

·         Collect and prepare learning document of the programme

 

·         Perform any other related duties as required
