Heifer International Nepal (HPIN) is a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and caring for earth by providing livestock, education, and other resources to help poor families become self-reliant. HPIN invites application from eligible Nepali citizens for the following position:

Program Officer – Animal Well Being: (Required Nos. 1)

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

The Program Officer- Animal Well Being will be responsible for an effective delivery of animal health and production technologies, knowledge and skills to project partners and cooperatives. S/he will ensure that farmers adopt improved technologies for consistence and bulk supply of quality animals and work in close collaboration with Heifer Nepal Program team, project partners, cooperatives and community agro vet entrepreneurs.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university in veterinary science with minimum three (3) years of relevant experience. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements.
