Centre for Awareness Promotion (CAP) Nepal, is a non-profit organization established in 2003. CAP is based in Kathmandu. The primary aim of CAP is to emancipate women and girls gender based violence and discrimination; to rescue and prohibit the trafficking of women and children and to reform cultural malpractices. CAP Nepal also works abolish commercial sexual and labor exploitation of women and children.

CAP Nepal also works to abolish commercial sexual exploitation of women and children.

CAP Nepal invites application for the following position from qualified and result oriented Nepali oriented Nepali citizen to successfully manage the ongoing project Stop Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Minors. 

Position: Program Manager 

Responsibilities 

  • Program coordinator has to work on project writing, planning, budgeting, implementing and monitoring of the program activities.  
  • Conduct the regular assessment of activities, anylysis of target VC achievements, review and follow up the planning of the project. 
  • Develop and review session plan and workshop/ training manuals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to effectively implement activities.
  • Document and verify the cases received
  • Design awareness tools, support and work closely with the team members in implementing media response strategy. 
  • Develop document and write efficient project and activity on monthly, quarterly and annual basis and report to executive director. 
  • Manage and monitor the performance of the project team (psychosocial counselor, program officer, outreach officer, media coordinator) as per their work plan.
  • Should have sound understanding on women issues especially on abuse and trafficking.
  • Assist research team on data collection,data anylysis, report preparation 

Requirement: 

Master in related field with 2 years experience or bachelor's with 4 years experience or similar qualification in related desclipines with minimum 3 yrs of working experience in NGO specially in child protection issue (preferable in commercialexual exploitation). The candidate should poses excellent English and Nepali writing skills, strong management and coordination skills, effective facilitation/ communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience in development and implementation of child protection program.
