Operations Planning Manager

The purpose of this role is to ensure effective, efficient delivery of exams products to meet market demand. The post holder will ensure quality standards are met and relationships managed productively in an end-to-end delivery cycle. The role will translate demand into capacity/resource requirements for venues, people and test materials to fully optimise operations and margins while maintaining service levels, maximising agility and ensuring contingency. It will also manage, monitor and review changes to plan reporting on requirements to fill capacity, effectiveness of Planning and cost to serve. 

Main Opportunities / Challenges for the role

  • Leading the planning function under the new Global Exams Operating Model, embedding new processes and ways of working across the country 
  • Planning exams delivery that meets demand and optimises available resources
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards across all products and at all stages of exam planning
  • Advising Operations Officers and venue staff on best options to resolve operational issues
  • Leading resolution of planning, compliance and delivery issues, with support from country/regional colleagues Ensuring Customer Service Excellence though quality exams delivery in all products
  • Managing Confidential Material, Test Day Planning & product processes (e.g. IELTS PSN)
