Mid/Senior Wordpress Developer

Zitacomp is looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer to join our company. As a WordPress Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins

We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write server-side code, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly
• Design and build new plugins into the WordPress platform critical to the digital flow clients
• Collaborate with other engineers and designers to deliver strong customer-focused experiences
• Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. clean code, code reviews, and writing beautiful, pragmatic code)
• Actively contribute to team and company standards
• Maintain current site, fix issues that arises

Knowledge, Skills:

• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Mysql
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of WordPress
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Laravel, Symfony, Yii, Zend, etc) a plus
• Knowledge of Magento a plus
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) a plus
