JOB MISSION:

The Mess Waiter/Bar Tender is responsible for serving Core meals, Tea & Coffee, Tea & Toast and drinks at dinning, Ante room, bar, honesty bar and BGN functions. 

KEY OUTCOMES:

• Day to day service of core meals and drinks at bar / honesty bar in Mess and transport heavy loads from one place to another during functions.
• Providing room keys, allocate rooms, booking meals for guest according to accommodation booking sheet.
• Regular checks in honestly bar such as bar chits, stocks and handle cash.
• Cleaning Mess silver and other Mess property on a regular basis.
• Reporting and recording any breakages, losses and maintenance to Mess No 1.
• Maintaining the inventory of mess cutleries, crockery’s and glasses which are issued from stores and securing the Mess property & ASU (Accommodation Service Unit) property at the end of the day.
• Maintaining and refilling the bar stocks of beverages as and when required.
• Accounting of soiled linens, it’s washing arrangement and collection.
• Carryout any other task as instructed by the Line Manager.

SUCCESS PROFILE:

Ideal candidate will display quality, efficiency, consistency in key areas of operation (F&B) with organized approach.   Should be able to produce standard work with minimum supervision within given time and should have understanding of the following:

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Qualification & Training:

1. Hospitality qualification and training in Food & Beverage from a reputed institute.
2. Good spoken and written English Language required.  (Will be tested during sift & interview).
3. IT literate with knowledge of Health & Safety at work.

2. Experience:

• Two years post qualification experience in a reputed hospitality (Hotel/Restaurant).
