JOB DESCRIPTION/SCOPE OF WORK:

TITLE: LRIMS Officer

PROJECT: LRIMS-DOLRM

TIME PERIOD: Contract Based (3 Months)

General Summary and Background: 

The purpose of Land Records Information Management System (LRIMS) project is to ensure the land administration services to the general public online via internet/intranet and to centrally accessland records all over the country, storage on the same server, which assists the concerned to get hold of any data/statistics whenever required. This system enables the use of electronic device (finger print recorder, signature capture device, webcam etc..) for data entry and verification of the same later at any time. Also, to restrict forgery in land related transactions.

Essential Functions:

The LRIMS Officer will, act as, a support staff to the designated office for the smooth operation of LRIMS and provide the end users with handheld trainings at and when required, he/she will liaise between the Land Revenue Office and the central support center for any incurred issues which cannot be solved then and there. The position and key responsibilities includes but are not limited to,

  • Liaise between government officials and the general public.
  • Act as support staff cum computer operator on the designated LRO’s.
  • Travel to the nearest LRO’s as and when required.
  • Plan, prepare and execute the service audit of LRIMS.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications

  • A Diploma in Commuter Science, Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree (BE, B Tech, BCA or other IT related degree)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience on Land Reform or related offices, use of existing DLIS application will be of added advantage.
  • Good understanding on the web-based tools, and MS Office package.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and fluent in Nepali and English.   
  • Highly motivated and committed.
