Wine to Water Nepal

Wine to Water Nepal (WWN) is not for profit organization registered in Nepal with a mission to provide clean water in the rural community. We work with partnership with Wine to Water International, local communities various governmental and non-governmental organization. Our programs are implemented through mobilization of volunteers from different backgrounds, nationalities and life stages.

We are looking for fellow to join our upcoming International/National Volunteer Program ( IVP) . IVP is a volunteer program provides international and local volunteer an opportunity to serve in communities, build relationship with the communities and understand and engage with local community and theirs culture. It enables volunteers to be empathetic and gives and opportunity to reflect on the learning outcomes.

Our programmes are in local communities in Chitwan district and each volunteer trips is for 10 days.

Position Summary

This is exciting opportunity to be part of Wine to Water Nepal office team for six months. By being a part of our team, you will work for providing safe clean water rural communities and contribute towards the millennium development goals.

The role will be responsible for supporting the national team to carry out the volunteer program from the initial phase. The fellow will assist the team with the implementation of the volunteer programs and carry out the logistics that go into the program implementation. He also acts as a bridge between the community and the volunteers while the volunteer are on the ground.

The successful candidate will be characterized by possessing excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, strong analytical and visual ideation and experience in using MS Office Suite. These abilities are paramount for success!

Education and Experience

The minimum qualification that we look for is a Graduate degree.

Benefitis:

  • Monthly Stipend = Rs 7500/-
  • Lunch will be provided by the office.

Travel accommodation and food during the volunteer trips are covered.
