Job Purpose

The job purpose of ICT Officer is to be responsible and accountable including monitoring all aspects of the networks, maintaining networks uptimes, conducting needs assessments and hardware/software installations. Responsibilities also include helping to design future state of network design and support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years of professional working experience in maintenance and servicing of computer networks and equipment.
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or CISCO Networking Certified Engineer will be an added value.
• Technical expertise in OSI Model, Ethernet networks configuration, TCP/IP, IP addressing, and structured cabling skills.
• Working knowledge of client server, Windows 10 and Server 2012/16 administration and install and configure Linux/Unix firewalls.
• Working knowledge of cloud server and VPS.
• Communication skill with strong quantitative background.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Job Description

• Maintain all aspects of the network; maintain network uptime, monitors LAN/WAN equipment’s and connections.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any network problems and providing maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Utilizing appropriate tools to collect data on the status of network hardware and software.
• Facilitating the timely delivery of solutions which meet the technical support department needs.
• Monitoring trends and development regarding new technology and enhancements, also communicating with the team leader about the trends etc.
• Working cooperatively with other department staff on variety of projects.
• Configuring and designing wired and wireless networks.
• Preparing reports for management on the status and utilization.
• All other tasks assigned by team leader.
