FAIRMED is a Swiss development organization dedicated to work with its motto “Health for the Poorest”. The organization plays an important role in providing health care access to the marginalized communities and individuals who are prone to diseases, disability, and poverty. The core focus of FAIRMED's work in Nepal is Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) – Leprosy, LF, Kalaazar, etc and Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH), while it interweaves GESI and Disability Inclusive Development (DID) as cross cutting themes into its programs to strengthen the health system and increase the uptake of public health services.

Details / requirements:

The position is responsible primarily for carrying out the organization’s Human Resource management related activities by providing leadership to this unit. The position will also provide support in organization’s general administration, including communication related activities. The employee will manage day to day human resource related matters, coordinate and facilitate staff development activities, assist to strengthen the organization’s internal and external communication systems, specifically maintaining the institutional website, ensure the efficient administration at Country office and field offices. The employee will be based in Country office, report to the Country Coordinator and work closely with the Communication and Liaison Officer, and Finance & Logistic Officer. S/he will maintain close communication with field offices and other staff members as required.

Qualifications:

Atleast Bachelor’s degree in Business management, social work, or related subject from a reputed institution with a proven track record of 3 years (2 years’ experience in case of Matsrer’s degree) of related work experience in I/NGO or private sector

Competencies:

·         Experience in managing Human resource, and office management/administration
·         Good understanding about government laws, policies and able to analyze them to align with the organization policies.
·         Excellent skills on documentation, data analysis, report preparation, and dissemination   
·         Excellent inter-personal communication and motivated to work with team spirit
·         A team Player, ability to handle HR issues diligently
·         Has learning attitudes, and ability to strengthen the organization’s image
·         Understanding about the working modality of I/NGOs
·         Fluent in English and Nepali (writing and speaking)
