Environment and Rural Development Center (ENRUDEC) Banke is the non-governmental organization established in 1997 with the objective of empowering and uplifting disadvantaged women, adolescents and children and conservation of environment. Therefore, ENRUDEC is seeking job applications from potential candidates for the post ofField Officer,Associates Field Officers, Overseer, Admin and Finance Associate Banke Based for the implementation of “Improvement of New Born and Child Health (IMNCH) Project” in Banke district of Nepal in partnership with ADRA Nepal.

1)JOB POSITION:  Field Officer- 1 position

JOB LOCATION: Banke

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES; S/HE SHOULD BE ABLE:

  • Take a lead in developing monthly, quarterly and annual plan of project  and share with local and district authorities on time for approval and information sharing
  • Provide technical support to the district base project team in planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the field activities in line with the project goal and objectives
  • Keep all the project staff and board members updated on project requirement; implementation guideline, tools and procedure for their understanding and use 
  • Review project budget, track the expenditure of budget regularly  
  • Make sure that project data is being collected from field regularly, analyze them against quality benchmarks and share with ADRA and other relevant government and non-government organizations
  • Have frequent field visit to monitor program activities/interventions against quality bench mark, produce & share monitoring reports in line with findings of baseline report and prepare action plan jointly with project team for further improvement.
  • Organize the monitoring visits of Government Officials and the project sites to bring their attention about the programs
  • Coordinate with district level line agencies and like-minded organizations to avoid the duplication of the project activities and develop the synergy in programs
  • Ensure the participation of the project team in different health related committee for coordination among stakeholders.  
  • Share the project update with District Health Office and Local Government periodically  and invite them for monitoring  of the project activities in the field  
  • Coordinate with Local Municipal Level for leverage of local resources in family health. Monitor project expenditures and take necessary action to ensure the burn rate is within acceptable limits 
  • Ensure that functional administrative systems are established and maintained in the project and the partners
  • Follow strictly the organizational policies 
  • Provide technical input to the executive board for organizational capacity building.
  • Coordinate with other local NGOs/organization and relevant. To assist the executive board in updating the organizational policies and plans if required. 
  • Ensure proper coordination/communication with donor agency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION FOR THE VACANT POSITION:

  • Nepali Citizen
  • Bachelor’s in public health
  • At least 3 years of working experience in health projects/programs.
  • Working experience from I/NGOs and multi donor agencies preferred.
  • Having Motor bike/ Scooterwith valid driving license.

2)JOB POSITION:  Associates Field Officers - 3 position

JOB LOCATION: Banke

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES; S/HE SHOULD BE ABLE:

  • Assist Field Officer and Focal Person preparing monthly, quarterly and annual plan of project activities in the district ensuring the timely sharing to project team 
  • Assist DPC to review project budget and plan it for the implementation of project activities 
  • Support admin and finance assistant in requesting project budget on time and disbursing it with high compliance 
  • Assist to share the project activity plan periodically to respective line agency (DHO/DPHO/Municipal) and ensure the participation of project team.
  • Provide timely supervision to project staffs Prepare project accomplished reports on time in close coordination with DPC, focal person and deliver to ADRA Nepal 
  • Prepare and communicate the trip/event report to project team 
  • Document the learnings, major findings and innovations with high priority ensuring the visibility 
  • Submit timely monthly and quarterly plan to ADRA Nepal Assist Field officer to coordinate with district/municipal level line agencies and other stakeholders. 
  • Assist to share the project update with Health Office/Municipal periodically and ensure the participation in joint monitoring and supervision 
  • Implement project activities at Municipality/Rural.
  • Facilitation and formation of community level group.
  • Increase accessibility and information at community level on availability of various service and facilities.
  • Mobilizethe community groups and coordinate with FCHVs, Mother’s group and other community influencer at community level.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Field officer.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION FOR THE VACANT POSITION:

  • Nepali Citizen;
  • Health Assistant (Bachelor’s in public health
  • At least 2 years of working experience in health projects/programs.
  • Working experience from I/NGOs and multi donor agencies preferred.
  • Having Motor bike/ Scooterwith valid driving license.

3)JOB POSITION:  Overseer - 1 position

JOB LOCATION: Banke

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES; S/HE SHOULD BE ABLE:

  • Assess Physical infrastructure of Health Posts and Zonal Hospital by conducting field visits.
  • Develop relevant context-specific designs based on availability of local materials and skills mainly for installation of wall and floor repair, painting, drainage room, ventilation facility, placenta pit.
  • Mentor, coach, monitor and supervise throughout construction process.
  • Provide technical assistance for upgrading Zonal Hospital’s neonatal and child health unit.
  • Oversee labor and conducts monitoring during construction, and checks whether building quality is maintained, identify and address deviations, coordinate activities.
  • Prepare regular programmatic and assessment reports and document lessons learned, recommend on potential room for improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION FOR THE VACANT POSITION:

  • Nepali Citizen;
  • At least 3 years of working experience on construction
  • Working experience from I/NGOs and multi donor agencies preferred.
  • Having Motor bike/ Scooterwith valid driving license.

4)JOB POSITION:  Admin and Finance Associate- 1 position

JOB LOCATION: Banke

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES; S/HE SHOULD BE ABLE:

  • Admin and Finance Associate will be responsible for making payments in cash and bank to all vendors, suppliers, consultants.
  • To keep track of all financial records, both in relation to petty cash and other regular expenses;
  • To make accounting entries in the computerized package.
  • To handle TAX clearance and other compliances with Government and other concerned departments;
  • Reconciliation of staff advances and making necessary entries.
  • To administer employee files and other files and records in order to ensure accurate payment of benefits and allowances - review personnel records: [Staff contracts, leave reports, training, time sheet, travelling documents]
  • To provide appropriate support on procurements, maintain the Assets and Inventory list and supervise the inventory of store items & ensuring regular verification;
  • To prepare financial statements, financial reports, for the project in allocated time frame.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION FOR THE VACANT POSITION:

  • Nepali Citizen;
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting 
  • Fluent in English & Nepali languages written and spoken;
  • Having 3 year relevant experience in the field of Accounts and Office Administration;
  • Familiar with windows based accounting packages;
  • Familiar with busy working environment, handling with pressure of works and meet the deadlines; and
  • Good in communication with people from diverse community and place.
  • Having Motor bike/ Scotty with valid driving license.

DURATION: The probation period will be for 3 year. With the option to extend based on the satisfactory performance.
