Duties (Key Responsibilities):

Key Tasks 

·      Prepare and submit daily Persrep to iHub.

·      Record the receipt and dispatch of all incoming and outgoing mails.

·      Assist DIO (N) Works Clerk by attending help desk in recording faults reported to DIO on PROM/PCT (IT System).

·      Circulate all official internal paperwork and documents between various personnel within department DIO (N) and BGK as required.

·      Manage leave records of staff and the technical library in Kathmandu.

·      Keep record of all Civilian Staffs’ training and competencies in consultations with Maintenance Manager.

·      Maintain Unit/Sub Unit Separated Service Record.

·      Prepare all duty travel applications for DIO (N) personnel; seek appropriate authorization and file the paperwork for the record.

·      Process overtime and TOIL paperwork.

·      Support store person as and when required.

·      Other duties as directed by the Line Manager commensurate with grade and competence.

 

Success Profile:

Ideal candidate will display quality, efficiency, consistency in key areas of operation with organized approach.   Should be able to produce standard work with minimum supervision within given time and should have understanding of the following:

Desired experience and qualifications:

1. Minimum 02 years as a clerk/ admin assistant, or demonstrate aptitude to undertake such responsibilities.

2. Good spoken and written English Language required.  (Will be tested during sift & interview)

3. Good knowledge of filing, manning the call, registering the documents.

4. Familiar with the operation of photocopying and fax machines.

5. Should be IT literate.

6. Should have experience of liaising with external overseas agencies.
