District Coordinator/Program Coordinator

SEBAC-Nepal, a National NGO working in the WASH sector, has been implementing projects titled Safe-WASH IIand Girls Agency and Youth Empowerment Project (GAYEP) supported by the USAID and Plan International Nepal respectively. The Safe-WASH project is designed to contribute towards the well-being of rural communities of Nepal through improved water, sanitation and hygiene practices and GAYEP is primarily focused on promotion of economic empowerment/employment, participations and capacity building of young women organization, participation and capacity building of adolescent girls/children ensuring civic rights of Adolescent girls, young women and sexual and reproductive health rights.In this regard, SEBAC invites application for the following positions from interested, eligible, and result oriented Nepalese citizenswho are reliable, accountable, have an ability to deliver results

01. Job title:District Coordinator (DC)

No of Positions: 1

Contract type: Fixed Term   

Duty Station:Kanchanpur

Project: Safe-WASH II

Key responsibilities:

The DC will be responsible for overall coordination, planning and implementation of WASH program activities in assigned district and communities. S/he will be responsible for coordination with district level WASH partners ensuring formation, training and mobilization of all WASH-CCs for ODF campaign. S/he will also facilitate in strategic framework development, coordination and liaison with VDCs and district level WASH stakeholders, strengthening project staffs in planning, implementation and monitoring and reporting of program activities. 

Required qualification and experiences:

Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Social Science or Rural Development with at least five years of WASH related experiences in similar position.

02. Job title:Program Coordinator (PC)

No of Positions: 1

Contract type: Fixed Term

Duty Station:Itahari, Sunsari

Project: Girls Agency and Youth Empowerment Project (GAYEP)

Key responsibilities:

PC will be responsible for overall program, human resources and financial management. S/he will be involved in planning, implementation, operation, monitoring and reporting of Girls Agency and Youth Empowerment Project activities.

Required qualification and experiences:

Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Social Science or Rural Development with at least three years of related experiences in similar position.
