Heifer International Nepal (HPIN) is a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and caring for earth by providing livestock, education, and other resources to help poor families become self-reliant. HPIN invites application from eligible Nepali citizens for following position:

Associate Finance Officer: 1

Function: The Associate Finance Officer will be responsible for processing daily financial transactions, ensuring data entry in the ERP, verification of bills, timely staff advance settlement, payment to vendors, filing the transactions, timely deposit of taxes and retirement deductions and other job related duties. The position will report to the Department Head.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related fields is required. 1-year experience is preferred. Other job- related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these requirements.

Most critical proficiencies

• Good understanding of Accounting Principles, Strong book-keeping skills, proficient in accounting software and spreadsheet, sound communication skills.
