Assistant -Anaesthesia

Assistant -Anesthesia (No. of Position -Few) - Level-5B- TIO 

Minimum Requirements:

1.PCL in Health sciences (Staff nurse, Health Assistant, Ophthalmic Assistant).

2.1 year Anesthesia assistant course from reputed Institution.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Pre-anesthetic assessment of patient requiring anesthesia:

1. Assist anesthesologist for Pre-anesthetic check up and taking informed consent after counseling.

2.In the operation room complex:

1. Prepare the anesthetic equipments and anesthetic drugs as per protocol of the institute.
2. Attachment of monitoring equipment, institute IV access for drugs and fluids and assist providing general anesthesia.
3. Monitor, maintain and managing vitals of the patient during anesthesia.
4. Continue monitor, maintain and manage vitals of the patient during recovery period until full recovery & Preparation of resuscitation and CPR materials. 
5. Carry out other duties as required and given by the line manager.
