Forum For Rural Development (FORD) is a local NGO established in 2000 A.D in Okhaldhunga district and currently awarded USAID funded SABAL Program. Hence, FORD Nepal Okhaldhunga is seeking applications from local qualified, experienced, self motivated and result oriented Nepalese citizens for following positions to implement SABAL program in 16 VDCs. Ragani, Pokali, Tarkerabari, Gamnangtar, Yasam, Narmadeshwar, Raniban, Singhadevi, Fulbari, Fediguth, Sisneri, Palapu, Kalika, Khijichandeshwari, Khijiphalate, and Khijikati.

Key Responsibilities: Day to day update the office financial transaction in financial software(FAMAS), Maintain daily administration & financial transactions in compliance with the prevailing laws of government of Nepal, and accounting principle of organization. Accordingly, maintain petty cash, inventory, fixed assets register, ensure to make all financial documents are kept safe and secure, support to prepare annual budgeting of respective project and monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports as per the requirement of the project before stipulated deadlines, support to  organization towards taxes & duties are paid on time, develop, maintain and monitor all financial systems for receiving and paying of money, including payroll, ensuring adequate authorization, ensure that all payments are made timely and are signed off to the correct budget code, support to make sure the policies are fully complied with while carrying out given tasks, follow the Financial Policy for sound financial management and make notes & report if any change needed for practical simplicity of its implementation and any other tasks as given by supervisor

Qualification & Experiences: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or Business Studies, At least 3+ years of relevant professional experience in Finance Management experience in I/NGO, human resources management & good communication skills, sound knowledge on financial application and tools, software based data entry system, requirement of knowledge and skills on computer applications is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly/periodic action plan of DRR & CCA theme and ensure timely implementation of planned activities. Capacity Building of project LDMC, CDMC and community members. Facilitation to prepare DPRP of VDCs as well as to conduct capacity development training and meetings to LDMC and CDMC. Prepare monthly and periodic progress report and timely submit to PC. Field level coordination and Networking with VDC, LDMC, CDMC, and various government and non-government agencies working in DRR/CCA at community level. Support program data management and documentation officer to maintain and compile database, case studied and reports as required. Support PC to manage visit of visitors, guests and representatives from donor and other stakeholders as per need.

Qualification & Experiences: Intermediate in social science or related discipline with experiences of DRR and CCA Field Supervisor and climate change adaptation including social mobilization with 2 years of practical experience in environment, NRM, DRR and CCA sectors. Facilitation in community based adaptation and disaster planning would be added valued for this position.
