1. Background

Samabeshi Apanga Sangh, Saptari (SASS) is a district-level non-governmental organization working with persons with disabilities in Saptari District.

SASS, in partnership with Sabal Nepal and CBM Global, is implementing the Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DiDRR) Project in Saptakoshi Municipality and Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality. The project aims to strengthen inclusive disaster management systems within local governments so that communities are better prepared for, and able to respond to, disasters in an inclusive manner. Through this initiative, target communities are expected to become more resilient and capable of mitigating disaster risks effectively.

In this context, SASS invites sealed quotations from eligible and qualified suppliers for the supply and delivery of assistive devices under the DiDRR Project.

3. Eligibility and General Conditions

  • Interested organizations/suppliers must submit the following documents along with the quotation:

    • Copy of firm registration certificate and latest renewal

    • Copy of VAT registration certificate

    • Copy of latest tax clearance certificate (FY 2081/82) or valid time extension voucher

    • Duly filled Supplier Registration Form

  1. SASS reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, wholly or partially, and to amend or cancel this RFQ at any time without assigning any reason.

  2. The selected supplier(s) will be fully responsible for transportation and delivery of the assistive devices to Rajbiraj–03, Saptari.

  3. All assistive devices must comply with relevant national standards and accessibility requirements for persons with disabilities.

  4. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of Nepal.

  5. Delivery must be completed within the agreed timeline. Any delay may result in cancellation of the purchase order.

 

4. Submission of Quotation

Interested and eligible organizations/suppliers are invited to submit a sealed Request for Quotation (RFQ) clearly outlining unit prices, total cost, and proposed delivery schedule.

The completed RFQ, along with all required supporting documents, must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM on 19th December 2025.
