The Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) is the apex organization promoting women entrepreneurs in Nepal, dedicated to advancing women’s economic empowerment and entrepreneurship development across the country. With its strong presence in all 77 districts of Nepal—including WEAN Chapters in 76 districts and the FWEAN in Kathmandu, FWEAN also has Provincial Committees in all 7 provinces, FWEAN has built a powerful nationwide network of women-led enterprises. With over 5,500 women entrepreneurs, FWEAN works to strengthen women’s participation in business, enhance entrepreneurial skills, and advocate for gender-inclusive economic policies. Through a wide range of impactful programs—including international trade expos, capacity-building workshops, business development centers, and market linkage initiatives—FWEAN supports the growth and sustainability of women-owned businesses in Nepal. As a leading women entrepreneurship organization in Nepal, FWEAN fosters collaboration between entrepreneurs, development partners, and the private sector. Its initiatives aim to address key challenges faced by women in business—such as limited market access, financial literacy, and digital inclusion—while creating new opportunities for innovation and leadership. By empowering women to become self-reliant and competitive in both local and global markets, FWEAN continues to drive Nepal’s economic progress, promote gender equality, and inspire the next generation of female entrepreneurs.

Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization working to promote the socio-economic empowerment of Nepali women through entrepreneurship and economic inclusion. FWEAN's mission is to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem by creating enabling environments for potential and existing women entrepreneurs. The organization advocates for women’s economic empowerment through capacity building, business support services, networking, and entrepreneurship development initiatives. With a primary focus on women’s entrepreneurship and job creation, FWEAN serves as the apex body of Women Entrepreneurs’ Association of Nepal (WEAN) and currently has 77 subsidiary WEAN Chapters and district-level networks across all seven provinces of Nepal.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN), in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), is implementing the project titled “Strong (Women) Smallholders and CSAs of Nepal’s Western Mountain Regions for a Resilient Local Food System (EMPOWER)” in Budhinanda Municipality and Khatyad Rural Municipality.
The overall objective of the project is to empower women smallholders, marginalized communities, and civil society actors to strengthen resilient local food systems. As part of the project implementation, FWEAN seeks to strengthen the capacities of women, youths, community groups, and local stakeholders through a series of targeted capacity-building and training interventions. In this regard, FWEAN invites qualified and experienced individual consultants, trainers, and consulting firms to submit technical and financial proposals for providing training facilitation and technical support in relevant thematic areas under the project.
In this context, FWEAN invites proposals ( include all the benefits ) from qualified individual consultants, trainers, and consulting firms to conduct capacity-building trainings under the EMPOWER Project. The assignment includes designing and facilitating training packages, developing training materials, and providing technical facilitation, mentoring, and reporting support for women, youths, community groups, and local stakeholders.
Proposal Title:
Capacity Building Trainings on Advocacy and Leadership, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Development Training, Business Planning, Financial Literacy, and Governance for Women and Youths.
The selected individual will be mobilized to conduct training in the following thematic areas:
- Training of Trainers (TOT) on Advocacy and Leadership;
- Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Development Training;
- Business Planning, Leadership, Financial Literacy, and Governance Training for Women and Youths.
The assignment may also include technical support in training module development, facilitation, mentoring, documentation, and submission of training completion reports.
