1. Call for Expression of Interest for Policy Review of Domestic Workers Rights

Yuwalaya, in collaboration with Oxfarm in Nepal (OiN), is implementing a project "Valuing Women’s Work (VWW)" aimed at empowering informal women workers and unpaid carers to assert their rights collectively. This initiative focuses on enhancing the capacity of domestic workers and advocating for government recognition, registration, and protection through policy provisions and social security measures. Given the precarious situation faced by working women in the informal economy, particularly in Nepal where 70% of the population is engaged in informal work, the need to safeguard their rights is paramount. Most of these workers, primarily women and girls lacking formal skills, are engaged in care and domestic duties 

To facilitate this project's objectives, we are seeking a consultant to conduct a thorough review of existing policies concerning domestic workers' rights. The review aims to identify gaps and strengthen policies to ensure fair treatment, protection, and empowerment of domestic workers. It will also emphasize the importance of collaboration among trade unions, civil society organizations, and domestic workers themselves to address systemic issues and drive meaningful change.

Consultant Requirements:

• Expertise in labor rights, policy analysis and stakeholders engagement.
• Understanding of domestic workers’ rights issues and relevant legal frameworks.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive policy reviews and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and present findings effectively.
• Five years of professional experience of working in terms of reviewer.

2. Call for Quotation for Tote Bag

Yuwalaya is a purely youth led, non-profit, non-government organization working for and with adolescents of Nepal. Yuwalaya has built a platform for adolescents, youths and child club graduates, collaborating with them to achieve the organizational goal and objectives of Yuwalaya. 

To fulfill the objectives of Yuwalaya, we are seeking a vendor who can supply 400 tote bags of good quality which are going to be distributed to the domestic workers of Lalitpur District.  

Vendor Requirements:

• Should ensure the quality standards of the requirement.
• Should have the options of different materials.
• Should have the customization services.
• Should be able to supply the requirement on given time.
