Going Global Partnership - Advancing TVET partnership through employer-led skills secretariat

Grant Call Announcement

The British Council is inviting applications from eligible not-for-profit Nepali organisations, including private sector federations and sectoral associations engaged in TVET partnerships, for the grant titled “Advancing TVET Partnership through Employer-led Skills Secretariat”.

This initiative builds on an ongoing work with the private sector to promote employer engagement and leadership in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). This initiative aims to strengthen employer-led TVET systems, expand public–private partnerships, and promote green and work-based training models in Nepal. The selected partner will lead policy dialogues, support curriculum development in green skills, collaborate with UK partners through the International Skills Partnership, and strengthen national and provincial TVET engagement platforms. The project will run from July 2026 to May 2027, with support from the British Council.

The successful applicant will be eligible for grant funding to support partnership activities. The partnership will be supported by the British Council.

The call for application is part of the British Council’s Going Global Partnerships programme which builds stronger, more inclusive, internationally connected higher education and TVET systems by supporting partnerships between universities, colleges, education policy makers, civil society organisations and industry partners around the world.

How to apply

Applications should be submitted using the application form provided to  consultant@britishcouncil.org.np by 17:30 on  05 July 2026, with ‘’Application for GGP TVET Nepal Implementation Partner” in the subject title of the e-mail. Any clarification questions should be submitted to consultant@britishcouncil.org.np by 21 June 2026.
