Expression of Interest: Call for Rosters

CREASION (Center for Research and Sustainable Development Nepal) is a non-profit organization established in 2005. It has its main office in Baluwatar, Kathmandu and a regional office in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

CREASION has been a pioneer in advancing Nepal’s transition from a linear to a circular economy. Over the past two decades, it has focused on promoting sustainable practices in solid waste management, plastic recycling, and the promotion of recycling and upcycling practices. These efforts include trainings, capacity building, and awareness programs reaching diverse groups, from indigenous communities and school children to youth. One of CREASION’s key beneficiaries is informal waste workers, who are supported through capacity-building initiatives and fair-pay mechanisms. On the infrastructural side, CREASION has established and upgraded Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and launched a state-of-the-art PET Recovery Facility. The organization also contributes to policy development and municipal solid waste management planning, having drafted localized policies for several municipalities.

Guided by its core values of compassion, entrepreneurship, and playfulness, CREASION is committed to reducing plastic consumption, fostering innovation, and expanding sustainable recycling networks across Nepal.

Note: Roster members will be engaged on a need basis as consultants and will be compensated with competitive fees for assigned work. Applicants will be evaluated based on their qualifications and competencies. Those whose applications are deemed eligible will be included in CREASION's Roster of Experts. Being part of the roster does not guarantee a contract. Future engagement will depend on CREASION’s needs. When a service requirement arises, the organization will directly contact suitable consultants from the roster, provide a specific Term of Reference (ToR) outlining the expected outputs, and issue a contract if terms such as fees and availability are agreed upon.
