FOR STATUTORY AUDIT

Dalit Society Welfare Committee Nepal (DSWCN), Head Office, Janakpurdham-04, Dhanusha, Madhesh Province, Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established with the objective of promoting social justice, inclusion, human rights, health, education, WASH, nutrition, livelihood, and community empowerment among marginalized and vulnerable communities. DSWCN has been implementing various projects in partnership with Government agencies and national and international development organizations.

DSWCN invites Expression of Interest (EOI)/Technical and Financial Proposals from eligible and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) firms registered in Nepal to conduct the Statutory Audit of DSWCN and donor-funded projects for the Fiscal Year 2082/083 (17 July, 2025 to 16 July, 2026).

Scope of Audit

The selected audit firm shall conduct:

• Statutory Audit of Dalit Society Welfare Committee Nepal (DSWCN).
• Audit of donor-funded projects implemented during FY 2082/83.
• Verification of financial statements, accounting records, internal control systems, supporting documents, procurement, compliance with donor agreements, Government of Nepal laws, and organizational policies.
• Submission of Audit Report, Management Letter, and audited financial statements.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested audit firms must submit the following documents:

• Copy of Firm Registration Certificate.
• Copy of PAN/VAT Registration Certificate.
• Latest Tax Clearance Certificate (FY 2081/82).
• Valid Certificate of Registration from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN).
• Company/Firm Profile.
• Experience of auditing NGOs/INGOs and donor-funded projects.
• CVs of proposed audit team members.
• Technical Proposal.
• Financial Proposal, including all applicable costs and taxes.

Terms and Conditions

1. The audit team shall conduct the audit physically at the DSWCN Head Office, Janakpurdham-04, Dhanusha, and Branch Office Jaleshwar Municipality-01, Mahottari.
2. The proposal must include all costs, including professional fees, travel, accommodation, daily allowance, taxes, and any other applicable expenses.
3. The selected firm shall maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and organizational information.
4. The audit shall be conducted in accordance with Nepal Auditing Standards, applicable laws of the Government of Nepal, and donor requirements.
5. DSWCN reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason.
6. The selected audit firm must comply with DSWCN's safeguarding, child protection, anti-fraud, and ethical policies.
7. Interested audit firms shall submit their Proposal in the prescribed format provided by DSWCN, along with all required supporting documents, either by email to dswcn.procurement@gmail.com  or in a sealed envelope delivered and registered at the DSWCN Head Office before the submission deadline.
