KIRDARC Nepal in partnership of WaterAid Nepal is implementing "Sustainable WASH Programme in Kalikot and Jumla district" with the aim to support in realization of WASH rights of the marginalized and people in vulnerable situations with access to improved water & sanitation facilities and practice of hygiene behaviour’s so that they can lead a healthy and dignified lives. The project aims will use Human Right Based Approach to improve the access for the sustainable development. Thus, KIRDARC invites applications from interested candidates for the following full-time positions.

WASH Officer (Based in Jumla)-1

Key Responsibilities: This position will be overall responsible to manage the implementation of programme at local level ensuring the quality of programme process and result.  In addition, he/she will support to the District/Project Coordinator/WASH Theme Leader, local government stakeholders and ensures the quality of process based on the WASH national policy and framework along with active engagement in administration, management and monitoring-reporting of the project. S/he will be responsible to collect the local level data, issues and fact to support for a new program design. 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor Degree with Technical Background at Intermediate Level (Civil Overseer preferred) with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in water, sanitation and hygiene programme; Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Auto Cad (survey, design, and estimate) and other related experience; Good communication and interpretation skills; Sound knowledge on budgeting, planning and effective implementation of planned activities and report preparation; Good skill/knowledge on coordination, facilitation, workshop and training conduction to stakeholders and beneficiaries; Cooperation and good team spirit; Knowledge on HRBA and WASH Right, Gender Equity and Social Inclusion; Must have knowledge on Resilient WASH and it’s indicators; Good team management and mobilization skills; Skills to coordinate and collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders.
