Backward Society Education (BASE) is a leading NGO officially registered in District Administrative Office, Dang and SWC in 1991. BASE has been working in Mid-Western and Far-Western Region (Province no. 5, 6 and 7) of Nepal. BASE has been implementing Supporting the Education of Marginalised Girls in Kailali (STEM II) programme for the period 2017 to 2020. The STEM II is a 3 years project funded by DFID focused on girls Education especially for marginalised girls in Kailali district with technical support of Mercy Corps Nepal. The programme targets Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City; Gauriganga, Ghodaghodi and Tikapur Municipalities; Kailari and Bardgoriya Rural Municipalities of Kailali. The programme works with 30 community schools in Kailali to improve the life chances of marginalized girls through learning, economic development and social changes. 

The project is going to support the books for Library in 30STEM-II working schools.Therefore we invite eligible bidders to submit their sealed (Lahachhap) bid documents. The tender documents can be downloaded from www.nepalbase.org after 2:00 pm or can be collected from BASE office, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-5, Hasanpur from the day of publication of the notice. Submit your sealed bid documents in BASE office, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-5, Hasanpur by 24 February, 2019, before 5:00 PM. Incomplete Tender or received after closing date will not be considered. BASE reserves the right to accept or reject the bids. The numbers of books per school are 1008.
