VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a national level NGO working to ensure Women Empowerment through protection and promotion of Human Rights and social justice focusing on Campaigns against Violence against Women and Economic, Social and Cultural  Rights nation-wide. Our working districts with offices are spread over Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Siraha, Dhanusha, Sindhuli,Bardiya, Dang, Kailali, and Rukum and the Central Office is located in Lalitpur. WOREC is currently looking for candidates to fulfill the following positions:

Sustainable LivelihoodManager (One Position in Central Office) - The candidate should have Master’s Degree in Agriculture/Forestry/Natural Resource Management or related field with at least five years of relevant experience, should have broad understanding of livelihood strategies, food security and entrepreneurship development including tertiary and agro-based enterprises, disaster risk management, knowledge on health and nutrition, understanding of local situation/language/culture, and ability to write and communicate effectively in both Nepali and English.

Grant and M&E Manager (One Position in Central Office) - The candidate should have Master’s Degree in social science, law, management or other related field with at least five years of experience in similar position, will be responsible for the overall effective and timely monitoring, supervision and evaluation of project/program activities at central and district level, design the M&E framework, plan and implement. Manage the overall grant efforts, optimize the grant administration process, ensue the compliance with grant regulations and oversee fund raising. 

Program Coordinator- Women’s Health (One Position in Central Office)-The candidate should possess Master’s Degree in Public Health, or other related health or human services field with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible direct professional experience. Program Coordinator will be responsible to develop, implement and evaluate the campaigns and program activities related to improving women’s health across the lifespan, including sexual and reproductive health, and advancing health equity. The candidate should have knowledge of basic principles, theories, and tools for social justice, healthcare resourcing and public health with service delivery mechanism.

Administration and Finance Coordinator - AFC (One Position in Central Office) – The candidate should have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Management with professional qualification (CA, ACCA) with at least 3 years’ of post qualification work experience.

OR

Master’s degree in Accountancy or Management with at least 5 years of working experience in Finance and Accounting field in NGO/INGO sector in a senior supervisory/management position/s. Experience of handling accounts and finance of national level NGO/INGO with at least a few branch offices is desired.  The AFC will head the organization’s admin and finance unit and will be responsible for regular support, monitoring and supervision to the finance unit in Centre and in district offices.

Admin and HR Assistant – (One Position in Central Office)

The candidate should have minimum academic degree of Proficiency Certificate Level or +2 in business administration or related field with at least 2years of experience in similar position including voluntary/internship work. The candidate should have very good communication skills. S/he will be responsible for helping managerial affairs to HRM and administration; provide support to the branch offices and central office for staff hiring and other areas of HR management and administrative work as per need. The position will help ensure compliance to and implementation of the policies, systems and practices in the entire HR and admin activities.
