Experience: At least 3-4 years experience as F & B Asst or Supervisor

Education: Graduate in Hotel Management or equivalent.

Salary: Negotiable

Job requirement:

  • Present menu to guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage services. 
  • To take orders correctly and advise on cooking time.
  • Ensure the bar & restaurant areas maintain a comfortable atmosphere and ambiance including sound, lighting level and temperature. 
  • Check and supervise the waiter/waitress does proper job on the station.
  • Ensure full knowledge of bar equipment including how to use, clean and maintain it.
  • Supervise whether all the tables are laid properly including the service table with all the usual accessories.
  • Observe the necessary standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety in his/her work; glassware and cutlery, etc are absolutely clean when placed on the side station.
  • Note orders which are passed to the kitchen or bar preparation.
  • Check staff duty rosters and supervise the discipline, conduct and appearance is maintained. Put staff on overtime and control unwanted overtime.
  • As instructed by management, ensure the observance of hygiene, safety precautions and high standard of service is practiced and followed or not.
  • Responsible for organizing, conducting and supervising on the job training.
  • Report to the F&B Manager any complaints, disputes, queries, comments from guests and staff.
  • Perform any other related ad hoc duties assigned by the management.
