Your job will be to

• Build large scale crawlers crawling millions of pages
• Manage and improve existing crawlers using PHP and other technologies such as scrapy, selenium, phantonjs.
• Contribute towards the development of our crawling framework
• Work as part of a team to plan, design, and develop product improvements and new features
• Be part of something big and push the cutting edge tools even further
• Communicate with the customer over e-mail to understand requirements, discuss possible solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of PHP experience.
• Good knowledge of how the web (HTTP) works (extensive knowledge of GET, POST, HTTP Headers etc.)
• Experience with usage of third party APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in usage of regular expressions, XPath and css selectors.
• Knowledge of character encodings, database (SQL & NoSQL), jQuery and other javascript frameworks is a plus
• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent - more value give to experience
