Request for Applications (RFA) from local non-governmental organizations to conduct (1) Post MDA surveillance TAS-II in 12 districts and (2) Post MDA surveillance TAS-III in 14 districts

ENVISION is an eight-year project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) which provides assistance to national neglected tropical disease (NTD) control programs for the control and elimination of seven targeted NTDs: lymphatic filariasis, trachoma, onchocerciasis, schistosomiasis, and three soil-transmitted helminths (roundworm, hookworm, whipworm). ENVISION contributes to the global goal of reducing the burden of targeted NTDs so that they are no longer public health problems.

ENVISION is implemented by RTI International (please check our website at

http://www.ntdenvision.org/where_we_work/southeast_asia/nepal for more information about the project) in partnership with CBM International, The Carter Center, Fred Hollows Foundation, Helen Keller International, IMA World Health, Light for the World, Sightsavers, and World Vision.

RTI is seeking a qualified non-governmental organization to implement disease monitoring surveys in select districts of Nepal. RTI intends to award two (2) fixed obligation grants (FOGs): one each for transmission assessment surveys-II (TAS-II) and transmission assessment surveys III (TAS-III). Qualification Criteria: Interested organizations should be legally registered in Nepal and have legal status to conduct activities throughout the country. Experience in designing and conducting field research activities and surveys, and analyzing results is required. Experience working on USAID-funded projects is preferred.
