National Network for Safe Migration (NNSM)

National Network for Safe Migration (NNSM) is an umbrella organization of civil society organizations in Nepal working in the field of labour migration and development. It was established in 2008 with a sole purpose of integrating efforts of civil society organizations especially for policy recommendations. Since inception, NNSM has been playing instrumental role in policy advocacy for protection and promotion of the rights of migrant workers and their families. It also focuses on empowerment and capacity development of its member organizations, network building for common platform and research/studies so as to contribute for making labour migration safer, dignified and productive.

Vacancy Announcement

NNSM announce job vacancies for the following Positions (1 year with possibility of extension): 

1. Project Officer (Full Time)

Major Responsibilities: 

  • She/He will be responsible for project planning, implementing, communication, coordination and reporting activities including overseeing and controlling financial activities or other tasks as directed by Project Coordinator.

Required Qualification and Skills: 

  • Bachelors' Degree in any discipline preferably in Social  Science, Management or Law
  • At least 3 years of proven work experience in project management preferably relating to labour migration, trafficking in person (TIP) or other related field 
  • Strong communication, presentation, writing and speaking skills both in English and Nepali 
  • Strong knowledge of project management, resource management, administrative works and computer applications 

2. Finance & Admin Assistant (Full Time)

Major Responsibilities: 

  • She/He will be responsible for overall financial records and maintaining the books of accounts. Also, She/He will also be responsible for communication, procurement, logistic management and other administrative works.

Required Qualification and Skills: 

  • Bachelors' degree in business administration, commerce with financial management or related discipline
  • At least 2 years of proven related work experience with non-government organization 
  • Good knowledge of financial software, government laws & policies, procurement procedure, accounting, logistic/resource management, administrative works and computer applications 

3. Office Assistant (Part Time)

Major Responsibilities: 

  • She/He will be providing the assistance to the other staff members including the cleaning of the office premises and other works as directed by senior staffs/board.

Required Qualification and Skills: 

  • Literate, skillful and committed towards the responsibilities as Office Assistant
