It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

It works with a vision for a just and prosperous society with people having access to and ownership over resources and opportunities.

KIRDARC Nepal is implementing adolescent and reproductive health project in Naraharinath Rural Municipality, Khadachakra and Raskot Municipality of Kalikot District with the aim to improve the reproductive and maternal health and well-being of Nepali young women (aged 15-24) throughout one of the most vulnerable periods of their lives, the transitions to marriage and parenthood to reach the disadvantaged and marginalized children in Kalikot district. The project aims to improve the RMNH and well-being of young women (aged 15-24) through out their transition to marriage and parenthood in four districts of Nepal. Thus, KIRDARC invites applications from interested candidates for the following full-time positions.

1.Project Coordinator (Based in Kalikot)-1

Key Responsibilities: This position will be overall responsible for management of planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of ASRH and RMNH activities in Kalikot. The  position holder will work in close  collaboration with  Palika  health coordinator, Rural municipalities/Municipalities and  Health  Facilities  (HFs) for  effective and timely planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of  planned activities. S/he will also support in government health system strengthening on maternal, adolescent and youth related programs. In addition, s/he will work as a budget holder of the project and manage logistics, finance and human resources under the project in respective district. S/he will manage the project staffs in the district for project implementation.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor degree in Public Health/Nursing and having 1 year experience in project management or implementation of RMNCH activities. Essential skills include Sound knowledge on RMNCH/ASRH; Knowledge and skill on Project Management; Report and proposal and case studies writing skill; Presentation, facilitation and negotiation; Very good skills and knowledge in documentation and reporting in English and Nepali; Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis and HR management. Other Desirable skill include Stress management skills; Time management and communication skills; excellent coordination, communication and interpersonal skills (team building and team work) with key stakeholders at project and district level.

2.Finance Officer (Based in Kalikot) - 1

Key Responsibilities: This position will be overall responsible to ensure functional, effective & efficient accounting & financial system and timely preparation and submission of reports to donor. This position holder will be working closely with organization’s Project Coordinator, Logistics and Management Team to run the smooth operations of accounting and financial management

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor degree in accounting or business management. S/He should have At least 3 years of work experience in similar position. Essential skills include Working experience in FAMAS or any accounting software; Working experience with donor agencies; Sound knowledge in MS Excel and Office Package; Logistics and Program understandings. Other desirable skills include strengthen Internal control system; Presents a positive ‘can do’ attitude to get things done; Delivers timely and appropriate results using available resources

3.Social Mobilizers (Based in  ) – 10

Key Responsibilities: This position will be overall responsible to work closely with the Program Coordinator and ED/Board of Organization, Project Coordinators/officers of other themes, Field Supervisors, CBOs and local governments and agencies working at Palika levels, Health Facility (government and non-government) to create enabling environment and to facilitate/support in the project implementation process to ensure the project activities are accomplished within the set quality/quantity and time. Under the direct supervision of  Project Coordinator, Social mobilizer will be responsible to lead the project related activities of Project by mobilizing and coordination of health workers, mentors, FCHVs, Adolescent/Girls  Groups, HFOMC and community peoples

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: At least staff nurse or ANM or CMA/HA (female) course passed and minimum 6 month experience in related field. Essential Skills include Sound knowledge on ASRH; Knowledge and skill on Community mobilization; Report and proposal and case studies writing skill; Presentation, facilitation and negotiation; Very good skills and knowledge in documentation and reporting in English and Nepali. Desirable skill includes Stress management skills; Time management and communication skills; Excellent coordination, communication and interpersonal skills (team building and team work) with key stakeholders at Palika and community level.
