CBM Nepal Country Office (NCO) is an international development organization committed to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world irrespective of race, gender or religious belief. Our work in Nepal spans across 36 districts and based on a programmatic approach to ensure rehabilitation and inclusive development of persons with disabilities.
CBM seeks application from qualified and competent candidates for following positions:
Job Title: Programme Manager
Objective: The Programme Manager will support the Country Office to ensure strong project design, proposal development, project implementation, management and monitoring & evaluation.
This role will build the capacity of Country Office and partners' project staff. Additionally, the In-Country Programme Manager will oversee technical / thematic and cross-thematic support to programmes, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning and resource mobilisationalong with programme team supervision and budget management.
Education and experience:
- University degree in social sciences, international development or related field
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in development and programme management
- Various Government/funders/donors’ knowledge and/or experience
- Social inclusion project management experience or knowledge
- Knowledge of Disability Inclusion Development
Job Title: Programme Officer – Advocacy & Communication
Objective: Facilitating the development, management and implementation of Programmes in line with the CBM Federation Strategy, Country strategy and within the CBM’s Standards and Budgets through appropriate Programme Management systems.
To work across teams, develop cross cutting programmes and support capacity development of the country office and programme partners for promotion of rights of persons with disabilities in Nepal.
Education and experience
- Master’s Degree in social work/health/development studies/development management
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the social Development sector.
- 1-2 years’ Experience in the field of advocacy for the rights of marginalized communities
- Strong communication skills including written, designing and dissemination.
- Both the positions are long term with two years of contract and possibility of extension.
