Program Officer for VAW Campaign for Morang (PO-M)

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) , a national level NGO working to ensure Women Empowerment through protection and promotion of Human Rights and social justice focusing on Campaigns on Violence Against Women (VAW) and Economic, Social and Cultural  Rights (ESCR) nation-wide. Our working Districts with district or project offices are spread over Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Siraha, Dhanusha, Sindhuli, Bardiya, Daang, Kailali, Salyan and Rukum and the Central Office is located in Lalitpur. WOREC is currently looking for candidates to fulfill the following position:

1.Program Officer for VAW Campaign for Morang (PO-M)- 1 position - The candidate should have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field with above 3 years’ work experience or Master’s degree with at least 2 year of working experience in similar role, will support implementation of program activities at the district level, manage program systems and procedures, ensure smooth implementation of field level activities, understands and implements program budgets, responsible to liaise with government counterparts and other stakeholders at district level, work in close coordination with Head Office. Strong spoken and written communication in both Nepali and English languages, should be able to write program reports and make presentations.
