Hilly Region Development Campaign (HRDC) 

Hilly Region Development Committee (HRDC) is going to implement the SAHAYATRA II and Awasar project in partnership with Save the Children International to improve student’s basic education, to improve implementation of UNCRC by government and Civil Society, to create safe and protective environment for children in school, health facilities and other community settings in Kushe Rural municipality of Jajarkot District. Thus, HRDC invites applications from suitable Nepali candidates for the following full-time positions:

1. Program Manager – 1 (One) (based in Kushe Rural Municipality)

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible to lead the both project (SAHAYATRA and AWASAR) quality, output and outcomes. Support Coordinators in planning, implementing, monitoring, documentation and reporting of projects in close coordination with funding partners and sector stakeholders, ensuring quality results and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master’s Degree in Education or other related development field with at least 5 years of working experience in NGO / INGO or Development Sector in management level. Should have skill of Leadership, Team Management by assigning work, developing work procedures consistent with policies, establishing work schedules, and monitoring work performed by subordinates in order to meet agreed-upon goals, objectives and target dates, reporting, coordination and communication.

2. Project Coordinator: Education – 2 (Two) (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) 

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible to lead the education theme under both projects, support to planning, implementing, monitoring, documentation and reporting of projects in close coordination with Project Manager and sector stakeholders, ensuring quality results and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master’s Degree in Education or related development field with at least 2 years of working experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related development field with at least 5 years of working experience in NGO or Development Sector. Should have skill of Leadership, Team Management by assigning work, developing work procedures consistent with policy, establishing work schedules, and monitoring work performed by subordinates in order to meet agreed-upon goals, objectives and target dates, reporting, coordination and communication

3. Project Coordinator: Child Protection/ Child Rights Governance – 2 (Two) (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) 

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible to lead the child protection and child rights governance theme, support to project team in planning, implementing, monitoring, documentation and reporting of projects in close coordination with Project Manager and sector stakeholders, ensuring quality results and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master's Degree in Education or related development field with at least 2 years of working experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Education/ Law or related development field with at least 5 years of working experience in NGO or Development Sector. Should have skill of Leadership, Team Management by assigning work, developing work procedures consistent with policy, establishing work schedules, and monitoring work performed by subordinates in order to meet agreed-upon goals, objectives and target dates, reporting, coordination and communication.

4. Project Coordinator- Safe School/ Sub- Engineer– 1 (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) 

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible to lead and Support project and ensuring to Municipality and field team and ensures the timely condition and report of project activities with quality outputs.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Diploma in Engineering with at least 3 years’ experience in child education development program. Should have a good background and experiences in planning implementation, monitoring and management of education projects. Proven ability to manage team including their capacity to produce quality work. Willingness to travel on foot for long distances in difficult conditions.

5. Project Coordinator: Child Poverty (livelihood)– 2(Two) (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) 

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible to lead the Municipality projects, support to Municipality project team in planning, implementing, monitoring, documentation and reporting of projects in close coordination with Project Manager and sector stakeholders, ensuring quality results and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master's Degree in agricultural, livelihoods, health and nutrition or related development field with at least 2 years of working experience or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, livelihoods, health and nutrition or related development field with at least 3 years of working experience in NGO or Development Sector. Should have skill of Leadership, Team Management by assigning work, developing work procedures consistent with policy, establishing work schedules, and monitoring work performed by subordinates in order to meet agreed-upon goals, objectives and target dates, reporting, coordination and communication. As a result, the situation of food insecurity and associated malnutrition was inflicted upon the most deprived children in this municipal. The project aims to enhance household food production and income generation capacity of the project households in a sustainable manner and thereby alleviate malnutrition among the most deprived children in the project area. 

6. Finance and Admin coordinator – 1 (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) 

Key Responsibilities: This position will be overall responsible to ensure functional, effective & efficient accounting & financial system and timely preparation and submission of reports to donor. This position holder will be working closely with organization’s Project Coordinator, Logistics and Management Team to run the smooth operations of accounting and financial management

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management with at least 3 years of work experience in similar position. Essential skills include working experience in FAMAS, experience with funding partner agencies; Sound knowledge in MS Excel and Office Package; Logistics and Program understandings. Other desirable skills include strengthen Internal control system; Presents a positive ‘can do’ attitude to get things done; Delivers timely and appropriate results using available resources

7. MEAL Coordinator - 1 (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) 

Key Responsibilities: This position will be Establish the MEAL system in field level. Implement accountability mechanism. Collection the feedback and complaint response mechanism. This position holder will be working closely with organization’s Project Coordinator, Logistics and Management Team to run the smooth operations of accounting and financial management.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master's Degree in related development field with at least 3 years of working experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Education/ Law or related development field with at least 5 years of working experience in NGO or Development Sector. Should have skill of Leadership, Team Management by assigning work, developing work procedures consistent with policy, establishing work schedules, and monitoring work performed by subordinates in order to meet agreed-upon goals, objectives and target dates, reporting, coordination and communication.

8. Finance and Admin Officer– 1 (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) 

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible to support ensure functional, effective & efficient accounting & financial system and timely preparation and submission of reports to donor.  closely with organization’s Project Coordinator, Finance and admin coordinator, Logistics and Management Team to run the smooth operations of accounting and financial management

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management with at least 3 years of work experience in similar position. 9.  Supply chain officer - 1 (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) :

Key Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for all administrative, logistical works and management of Municipality based Office. This position will prepare plan on procurement and logistics management as per required and act accordingly.  S/he will be required to move to any HRDC offices in the districts and other related places to ensure proper logistics management. 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Studies with at least 2 years experience in logistics support in I/NGO or with intermediate level with 5 years experience. Knowledge of local laws and statutory requirements is essential. Good experience in transparent procurement process and inventory and store management with computer skills including use of spreadsheet and electronic e-mail/internet. Willing to make field visit to remote for logistics and financial support as and when required. 

10. Documentation and reporting officer - 1 (based in Kushe Rural Municipality) :

Key Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for Overall documentation role of Good practices, best knowledge of case story writing, good report writing skill and good computer skill.  This position will direct coordination with field staffs and program team.  

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in I/NGO or with intermediate level with 5 years’ experience. Knowledge of documentation and report writing skill.
