International Nepal Fellowship Nepal (INF Nepal) is a Christian non-government organization that has been working in the field of health services and development in the Western Regions of Nepal for more than 65 years. 

INF Nepal is looking for a qualified and well-motivated Nepali Citizen for the following post:

Post Title:    Physio Rehab Officer (1)

Work Base: Based in Gorkha

Duration: 4 months with possibility of extension for further 6 months.

Contract nature: Special contract

Remuneration: As per INF Nepal Rules and Regulation

Purpose of the job: 

To provide Physiotherapy service to persons with disability at base centre and during the field trip and to provide basic primary rehabilitation therapy training to, care-givers, local CBR workers, INF staff and local government health-post staff, equipping them to be able to provide on-going primary rehabilitation therapy to people with disabilities in their working area to enable their full potential to be reached and help prevent further complications. 

Required Qualifications and Skill

• Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) and  registered with the Nepal Health Professional Council 
• Demonstrable training, facilitation and skill transfer ability to those with minimal training in village settings
• Good interpersonal skills
• To be flexible and able to adapt to use basic, local resources as therapy aides
• Ability to network and find appropriate places for referral and follow up 
• To be practical and able to apply physiotherapy knowledge into the CBR context
