Nyaya Health Nepal, a Nepal-based NGO, improves healthcare for underserved communities in Nepal, in partnership with the Ministry of Health. Our integrated healthcare approach involves two teaching hospitals, a professionalized community health worker network, and strategic use of data and technology to connect patient records from hospital to home. Our more than 250 staff provide integrated care from home to hospital to over 200,000 community members, provide over 100,000 hospital visits, and conduct over 5,000 surgical procedures annually.

Job Position: People Operations Assistant

Duration: 4 months (extendable)

Possible is seeking a dynamic "People Operations Associate" to oversee all paper work, filing system and documentation for the People Operations Department.

Management Structure:

Department: People Operations

Location: Kathmandu

Travel: As required

Job purpose:

The People Operations Assistant will support the People Operation manager based in Kathmandu in People Operations functions and initiatives. This position will be responsible to ensure the standard of People Operations procedures are consistent and as per the organizational standard throughout the organization. S/he will drive administrative functions of People operations and support in recruitment, performance management at Nyaya Health Nepal. 

Responsibilities:

1.   Support Nyaya Health Nepal’s management and performance systems.

2.   Drive administrative functions of People Operations.

3. Support all team members within the district for People Operations functions and initiatives 

Area of Responsibility (AoR):

The People Operations Associate will be mainly responsible for overseeing the following areas of responsibilities:

1.   Support Nyaya Health Nepal’s management and performance systems.

a)   Support People Operations Manager in implementation of effective utilization of Asana, Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), 1:1s, BambooHR, and other staples of Nyaya Health Nepal’s management system.

b)  Support People Operations Manager in recruitment as per the hiring plan by preparing and posting job advertisements in Nyaya Health Nepal’s job portal and others, coordinating with teams to ensure proper implementation of recruitment policies, scheduling interviews, preparing contract, etc

c)       Support the People Operations Manager in onboarding and offboarding process for incoming/outgoing team members

d)  Support People Operations Manager in crafting and conducting high-quality, professional, branded presentations on our work. 

 2.   Drive administrative functions of People Operations.

a)       Maintain employee records system (Both Physically and Electronically).

b)  Update employee record and coordinate with concerned person for missing documents.

c)       Support staff to issue PAN, CIT and PF cards.

d)     Support District People Operations team as and when required regarding policies and procedures. 

3.   Support all team members within the district for People Operations functions and initiatives

a)  Assist team members with work issues, career development, and personal development.

b)       Support team members in terms of policies and procedure of People Operations.

The above list of responsibilities is not comprehensive, and the People Operations Associate may be required to take on additional responsibilities, as determined by the People Operations Manager. 

Must-haves:

â—      Bachelor’s in Business Administration or relevant degree

â—      Proven experience in Human Resource

â—      Fluent verbal and written English and Nepali

â— Ability to work well with others to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
