Part Time Tuition Teacher - English & Math

Background

We are looking for part time English/Math Tuition Teacher for our Children Home situated at Buddhanilkantha, Kathmandu. 

TERM & LOCATION: Long Term Part Time position based in Kathmandu for Children Home situated in Budhanilkantha

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT:       Contractual

DUTY STATION: Buddhanilkantha

WORKING DAYS: 2 hours per day, 6 days a Week

SALARY : As per organization policy

• Teaching and tutoring children of Children Home in English and Math subjects
• In addition to curriculum based teaching, facilitate children in improving and upgrading their written and spoken English ability
• Developing a creative environment for children through crafts games and sports

• Is responsible for delivering instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences 

• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment

• Any information relating to residents acquired in the course of duty must be treated in the confidence and discussed only within the children home with the authorized members of staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education

• At least Intermediate level in passed from a recognized university
• Intermediate Level in Major English or Bachelors Degree in Major English will be given added advantage

Experience  

• At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Math subject
• Must be excellent in Written and Spoken English

Skills

• Must have an excellent command over spoken and written English
• Must be Energetic and possess professional personality 
• Passion for improving a child’s life and love for the children
• Knowledge of child rights and child protection guideline and policies will be added advantage
• Excellent communication, observation and listening skills
• Ability to assess an individual's care and support needs
• Strong leadership quality to handle children
