INVITATION TO BID

Action Nepal-Dhading and Women Self Help Centre (WSHC)-Lamjung in cooperation with DanChurchAid (DCA) are implementing WASH Reconstruction Intervention project in Dhading and Lamjung districts. The project is implementing in funding support from Mott MacDonald/UK-Aid. 

The project has a plan to construct nearly 41 large size drinking water schemes in the districts in the period of 2018 to 2019. To support the procurement processes, a joint procurement committee of Action Nepal and Women Self Help Centre (WSHC) has formed. As a requirement basis to implement project activities, the committee will announce a request for Local Open Tender and invites interested suppliers to participate in the Procurement Procedure to supply and delivery of Water Scheme construction materials (Pipes, fitting, Cements, etc).

1. All goods are to be delivered at following address:

Dhading: Nilkantha municipality, Thakre and Jwalamukhi Rural municipality 

Lamjung: Dudh pokhari and Dordi Rural municipality

2. The offered prices shall be quoted in NPR only. Price should be with transportation cost.  

3. All offers, in English language only, must be delivered to the office mentioned below by 5 PM 24 May 2018. Late bids will be rejected. 

4. A Bid should have Two (2) separate envelops: For Dhading and Lamjung

• 1st for all the supporting documents; VAT registration, Company registration, tax clearance, Company profile.   
• 2nd for applicants with questions regarding this tender technical proposal; and financial proposal. 

Each of the above envelopes should be sealed, and properly labelled respectively as “supporting documents,” and “technical and financial proposal.” All these two (2) envelopes then should be kept in another envelop sealed with wax (laha chhap). Each page of both the technical and financial proposals should be signed and stamped. Please clearly mention for Dhading and Lamjung

5. Tenders will be opened at the Action Nepal Office, Dhading at the time stated in the Tender Dossier. Tenderers or their authorized representative can be present at the opening of tenders. If tenderers or their authorized representative cannot be present at the opening time, Tender should be opened by Procurement committee. 

6. The successful tenderer shall place a 2.5% Performance Guarantee upon signing the Contract.
