CRS Nepal

CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting diseases, poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS started its operational presence in Nepal in response to the 2015 earthquake, providing immediate emergency response in multiple districts and earthquake recovery support. CRS Nepal has been coordinating the reconstruction through the leadership of the National Housing and Settlements Resiliency Platform (NHSRP), formally known as Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) since March 2017 to provide technical and information management support to relevant national, provincial and local governments. Similarly, CRS expanded its programming to other disasters responses (Lamjung, Jajarkot) in country as well as other sectors, namely Livelihoods, DRR and Climate Change. CRS Nepal is also implementing a USAID-financed livelihood technical assistance program, Farmer to Farmer (F2F), in Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.

CRS Nepal invites applications from interested Nepalese cizens for the following posion:

Information Communication Technology (ICT) Officer-1 Posion based in Gorkha

The posion holder will coordinate and deliver various ICT and ICT4D (ICT) related information. S/he will provide responsive, professional service and technical support to CRS staff and partners to ensure efficient operation and use of CRS information sharing, communicaon, and collaboration technologies.

Key qualification required:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related field with minimum 3 years of experience in similar posion.
  • Preferred certifications including Microsoft certified Solution Associate, Cisco Certified, Network Associate, Microsoft SharePoint Foundation and ItIL Foundation Certified or equivalent
  • Experience of complex network Architecture Assessment, Design, Setup and Maintenance,Windows Server and Client OS technologies.
  • Experience on PBX, IP telephony, File Backup and Restore, Data Collection Applications and Database Technologies. Experience with IT systems management tools preferred.
